New 335is after 2K miles

Picked the loaded 335is up from the dealer a couple weeks ago. So far the car is perfect (super fast) and when in the appropriate mode for the DCT I notice no lag at all. Thought I would miss the 6mt but the DCT is actually a lot of fun as well (especially in the twisties),

Finally got around to taking a couple quick photos after new years. Also added one of the (now gone) 128i 6mt and current bike.

Do you have some lag off the line? My buddy got smoked by a Cayman S off the line. He said he stepped on it, but the car had nothing for a couple seconds.

theres lag if your in D mode for sure. In S [sport] i have not noticed any lag except maybe when i am almost coming to a complete stop and then try to accelerate hard. Off the line though it does fine. Ill test it out some more this weekend.

Nice car OP. Aus, your friend definitely didn't have it in the right mode. It's like out of nowhere telling a sprinter who's on the couch watching a dvd to get up in .01 seconds and sprint 100 meters. There's gunna be some lag in D because the transmission is purposely trying to be smooth.

Like others said, yes there is a little hesitation in D but not S/Sport. Also if it was an off the line race he should have used launch control unless he's got stick.
