Take it for a loooooooong test drive. I had one and hated it. 2 owner car with 72k on the clock immaculate inside and out, so nothing wrong with the car but just not for me. Funny though as I loved my E39 530d. Sold it as quick as I could.

I just always want a new car. if i went out and bought an r8 ( driven and dont feel any quicker than my rs4) or a gtr id want something else in 3 months so why not an e39 M5?? as ill prob sell it before summer anyway

having worked out ive blown £100k on cars in the last 6 yrs im finding it hard to swallow. so maybe a cheaper older car will loose less money???

oh well fuck it im going to have some bellvadere vodka with the mrs and hopefully ill have forgotton about amazing 7 yr old cars...........

Dont now go and buy and old car mate, (It wont feel as good as an RS4 really mate, surely you were jsut impressed by how good it still is for an old car..?)they look ancient now mate, proper old. I can only imagine your friends one is a very looked after example to feel new at 80k. Try driving a really low mileage example?!

There deffo a car to have, when you have loads of cars, and it can be a precious garage queen for special sunday afternoons etc.
