New toy...

Sorry for the terrible phone pictures

Lots and lots of carbon fibre

More carbon fibre but probably the worst interior shot ever

M3 plate on a Ferrari? Clownage!

Joking aside lovely car.

Not sure I would be squeezing it between the house and the bushes though. Maybe the angle of the photo makes it look tighter than it really is.

Sadly this isn't my toy. A friend has just bought it and I popped round for a shot this afternoon. I was like a kid in a sweet shop when he opened the garage door. Kept telling myself that I'm not that big on Ferraris but I turned into a 10 year old the minute I saw it.

The space in the drive isn't that tight. Both doors are open in the pics, my amazing photography makes it look tighter than it is. It's a tight squeeze in the garage though as the wing mirrors stick out miles.

Is it an F430 scuderia? As opposed to 'bog standard' F430 coupe with white stripes?

The bumper and position of the exhaust suggests it is a real one...

Looks absolutely fantastic, but if it were me, I would say it isnt worth the additional £40-£50K over a standard F430 coupe. I would buy the standard 430 coupe and spend the £50K on a 997 TT for daily use

Then again I do not have that sort of cash to blow on a Ferrari, so it's rather hypothectical!

Only ever seen these in red...looks awesome in grey!

Not sure if i was going to buy a ferrari whether id be brave enough to get a colour apart from Red as much as my intentions would be good, think id cave and go with the crowd!

Does colour affect residuals on cars like this???

It might be fantasy for us and our cars Rog, but it ain't fantasy for my wife and her shoes/handbags, it's reality at my expense.

Not sure about the Scud variants, but 'normal' Ferraris in red/crema command a premium over the other colours.

Stunning car. I think the colour really suits it. The exhausts and diffuser look amazing. Do want!

Do you think with the height of the exhausts that it marks any car sitting close behind it?

Masterplan, There's not much on the road that can get close enough to the rear bumper to get marked..... it does spit flames when being driven hard though

Peter, the standard F430 wasn't even a consideration for my friend partly due to the depreciation factor after loosing a rather large lump of cash in the last 12 months on his R8 V10 and also because he wanted something as close as possible to an actual race car. He's got a Focus that he uses as his daily snotter and a Caterham R400 which he races as well.

He looked at a red one but said he thought it would draw too much attention..... Yeah! Like any colour of Ferrari "blends in" here in Glasgow.

Scud's are worth the extra money. Just like a CSL is over a standard E46.

That looks the TITS in grey also!

Ha Ha, same here, little schoolboy effect!, our somewhat loaded neighbour has just traded his F430 scud in for a 2008 599 Fiorano, met grey with red leather, with carbon brakes the lot. 620 bhp!!

The V12 559 sounds much more cultured compared to the rabid dog 430, especially at 7am on a sunny sunday morning when he goes for a spin!

He's already had a 458 (too much like a play station game) and a California ( for girls) and didn't rate either of them for the reasons mentioned. The 599 is his seventh Ferrari in 5 years!
