Looks like a excellent alternative. I just don't like how the Alpina graphics automatically 'date' the car. Styling wise I think Alpina need to employ someone new stylists!

This'll be the car that will replace my D3, agree with Mr Singh re. the side graphics.
The standard spec is great as Alpinas usually have next to no spec. I think this model will have 20" wheels, not sure how long they'll last on the Uk's roads. |

Its the same as the e92 B3 Bi Turbo engine, just in a F30 body.
410BHP isnt much to get excited by. The New M3 will have circa 450BHP and will also be turbo Direct injection etc etc. Worth waiting for in my opinion.

It boring in my eyes! It isn't ugly in anyway...its just uninspiring. They could do more I think and the quad pipes look cheap. The wheels I think have been done to death!

Be interesting to see the power of the new M3.. I think itll be closer to 430 bhp than 450, unless the new rs4 has forced them to bump it up a little. |

Why oh why do they insist on using crappy OTT graphics and the wheels
I'm surprised they don't finish it off with the wing shopping list; Alpine BBS K & N Etc... |

Think a lot of folk are missing the point of what an Alpina is. It's deliberately NOT trying to be an M3.
That is fucking perfection for me (bar the auto box). Love the Alpina styling, always have. Still hanker after an e90 D3 bi turbo... |

Looks very nice considering its based on a non Msport its nice to see the Alpina front bumper for once does not look like stuck on as it did on the SE bumper on E90s.
I just cant get on with the wheels apart from that sign me up, now wheres my 65k lying around

Especially at that price tag
Personally I think all Alpina styling looks 'dated' and ten years too late. Especially the wank wheels.

No mate, but I don't need to to know it looks wank.
I'm sure it's a fine example to drive and a lovely place to be, which will only be helped by not seeing the outside (except in shop window reflections etc)! To clarify, I'm not disrespecting its credentials as a "better ultimate driving machine". |

Looking at the Alpina website they don't appear to have a dealership stateside - strange really, as they have them in most other countries.

Very nice. I've never been keen on the back end of the E9x M3 - the exhausts look much too close together IMO. This is what they should have aimed for:
