Headlights 320d -06 E91

Hi

I have bought my self a bmw 320d e91 -06 and I love it. The car has a complete m-package and its black. But the headlights keep bugging me. I had xenon on my e46 323ci and miss xenon a lot. Its halogen on my new car now. Have looked the prices here in sweden to convert to xenon and its to expensive. But I would like to buy new headlights with angel eyes look. Where can I find them with good quality and good fit.

thx m3rso

You can buy OEM e90 LCI headlights, they will fit perfectly and come with angel eyes and led signals...

or you can buy some DEPOs from eBay. They aren't bad.

Depo are a manufacturer of aftermarket car lights. You'll need to buy the lights & also ballasts and hid bulbs.

I got them from this listing, with very cheap, extremely fast delivery (from Germany to UK in 3 days!):-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3804424285...84.m1436.l2649

Don't forget to make an offer, he accepted 210 euros from me!

I managed to fit the ballast inside the headlights so there's no cables coming out the back, and no need to drill a hole in the back cover. Also they're canbus error free so no need to code out anything, they were completely plug and play. These are the ones i got:-

Also i replaced the AE bulbs with high power dual side facing T5 led's which make the AE's look like a complete ring rather than 4 points of light. They're not as bright as the replacement 60 led rings, but are far cheaper and no need to bake open the headlights. They're just visible in bright sunlight, but very noticable in cloudy midday light, and at night they are very bright white and still highly visible when the headlights are on. Also they're canbus error free so again no coding needed. These are the ones:-

And if you get the led AE bulbs, fit them before you put the headlights on the car, they will be IMPOSSIBLE to fit with the headlights on the car!

They're worth getting though, here's how mine look at dusk, although in person they look whiter and more defined.

And if you want a guide to fitting the headlights, http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=DEPO+diy

Just a couple of bad points about these lights, 1. The are not Bi Xenon, so you still have halogen for your main beam. 2. They have a noticable dark line on each beam like this:-

But then this set up in total will cost less than 300 euros, where as the oem headlight conversion will be around 1000 euros!
