3M vinyl wrapped my trim

Two weeks ago I wrapped my wood trim in 3M scotchprint brushed steel. I could not stand the wood trim my 335 came with and I couldn't justify spending $500+ on aluminum trim. 3M makes such quality vinyl that it doesn't even pay to go out and buy new trim. Overall, I think it looks much better than the wood trim. The brushed steel has a brushed feeling to the touch, however, isn't as cold as real aluminum would be. It also has some flakes in the paint that show in the sun but I personally think it adds a nice effect. Here are some pictures I took during the process..

I still have enough of this stuff to possibly cover two interiors. If any members are interested I could always show you this stuff in person and either sell the rest off or offer to wrap your trim. Let me know what you guys think!

What was the hardest part?

From what I can tell from the pictures I think the color looks better than the factory alum color. I always thought the factory trim was a little too bright.

I'm in Garfield, Bergen County area. Patience is key with this stuff! PM me if you have any questions.

Hairdryer and patience. The hardest part was doing the door trims since they have bends at both ends.

I like the factory aluminum because it's actual aluminum. I could do without the price tag though.

I have this exact vinyl in mine too and I love it. I didn't wrap it myself though...just couldn't find the time.
