Yes, they are legit OEM. No they dont use Lux H8.

But those won't work for you anyways. You have a 330i which has xenons standard. Those are halogen headlights from the 328i.

Hello im new to this forum and i cant start a thread or anything yet, but I have some questions. I have a 2008 328i e90 with halogen headlight and I really want xenons, is there a difference if I go with pre lci or lci xenons? Is one easier to install than another? And what whould I need to complete this? Thank you

You would need to use the LCI halogen LED that LUX sells.

So would the pre lci xenons be plug and play? Or do I need to do wiring, I saw a thread that had instructions to rewire or something like that. So what else would I need except the headlights itself, like can I use any hid kit or a special one? Ive never had a bmw, just hondas so everything is different. Thanks

well are you talking about having projectors or actual xenons. Xenons are pretty much HIDs but not as bright? Idk I cant explain it, maybe someone can. But when you have oem xenons the headlights use oem ballasts and bulbs. Kind of the same concept as HIDs. The bulb size is D1S. Also some headlights come with housing only and you would have to buy the rest for example the LCI housings needs bulbs, ballast, LED turn signal, and the light module(I forgot the name)
