Which Eibach Springs?

I looked through about 20 pages of threads with no clear answer. I'm going to be upgrading to Bilstein B8 shocks soon and would like to lower the car on Eibach springs. There are several different part numbers. I have a 2006 325xi.

Should I use:

Eibach Pro-Kit for the 2006 330 PN# 2085.140

or

Eibach Pro-Kit for the 2007+ 335 PN#2092.140

According to their specs, the kit for the 2006 330 drops the car 1.2 inches in the front vs 1.4 for the 335 kit.

Also, has anyone needed to use a suspension bushing rebuild kit for your shock install?

Thanks!

Anyone? I just ordered the Eibach Pro-Kit for the 335i. It matches the curb weight of my car better than the kit for the 328i and 330i.

I have 328xi and the eibach pro kit, placed by the awesome dudes at AK moterwerks in NJ. The cosmetics is almost perfect, the sport kit might be a little too aggressive.

Do you have any pictures posted? Yeah, I only looking for a mild drop to get rid of the 4x4 look. The sport kit would have been too much.

Nice! Are you running stock shocks and struts on your Pro-Kit? I'd love to see some pics!

Have you installed your springs yet? I'm curious to know how these work on the x models. Take before and after measurments.

Eiback on an XI

I have the Eibach Pro Kit on my e92 XI matched to Bilstein Sports (B8). Here's a pic to give you a rough idea of the look with 19's.

Sorry the car is filthy, and yes I know I need to remove the reflectors.

MentalJelly, Do you know what the part number is for the Eibach Pro kit you had installed?

..And which is better? the Bilstein Sports or the Koni Yellows?

I've had the same set-up installed on my car for the past three weeks and I'm pretty satisfied. Coming from the stock XI suspension that was really loose and floaty, the car has a very planted, firm feel on the highway and the street. Just for reference, personally I wasn't a huge fan very firm suspensions, but I do find the ride of the Eibach/Bilstein Sport combo still comfortable.

Also, this suspension set-up isn't for those who are looking for a super aggressive drop. I was only looking to get rid of my 4x4 look from the stock XI suspension, it looks like a non-XI with sport suspension. The front of the car dropped approximately .8" inches in the front and 1" in the rear. If you're looking for a bit more aggressive drop with springs, it looks like the H&R Sport springs will get you a bit lower. I don't have any basis for comparison to the Koni.

That actually looks great.
Makes me want to get that same setup

Ill have to see comparos of Eibach pro vs sport though. I would use that set up for summer. Winter Id have the stock 17s on snow tires.
