Warranty/Maintenence about to run out

Hello guys. I have ~ 48K miles@19 months on my e90 325i and my warranty/maintenance is about to run out soon. I am considering extending it and after some research these are the prices:

From BMW:
Warranty : ~$3000+
Maintenence : ~$1100

Warranty Direct:
Warranty : ~$2000
Maintenence : N/A

Please advise. Thanks.

www.twinkidneygrill.com has some good deals - are you the original owner? If so it should only be ~1500 for the warranty and 1000 for the maintenance.

It's the BMW maintenance/warranty extensions. Not anything aftermarket.

i believe its identical to the service plans you can get at the dealership so it should show up in their computer system that you have ext. plan

I'd be concerned about non-BMW plans. I have friends who spend hour discussing what is covered and not and then dealers who won't do anything until authorized. Saving money but spending a lot of time.
You didn't say, that I see how many months and how much mileage you are extending and how long you intend to keep the car. Make sure you are comparing similar products and coverage.

Have you had any problems with the car so far? Are you going to put the same amount of miles over the next several years that you have done for the last 2 years? It seems if you do purchase both of these plans, you will be one of the few that actually get to the 100K mile mark. I think both of these plans are really not worth it, but in your situation, I might consider it depending on the first 2 questions.

IMO a E90 325 is the perfect commuter car.
{FLAME SUIT ON} the only thing more reliable would be an accord or camry....AND HOW FUN IS THAT?

I bought the maintenance plan...but not an extended warranty....my clock is at 29.5K and has been "in service" 14 months

Check on bimmerfest, there is a group buy from a dealer
in Atlanta. I think they were cheaper than you quoted.

No problems so far [other than the paint chips from all the driving ]...the car runs great!! I am in consulting.....so I will have to drive a lot....since I keep switching clients. I think I would definitely hit the 100K with in the next 2 yrs at the rate I am going.

I did the extended service but I regret it now I dont think ill need breaks or a clutch before 100k and the oil changes every 20k miles doesnt justify the cost.

I got the extended warranty when I purchased the car because I plan to sell it in three years and at that time it will still have 3 years left and up to 100k so it will help the resale value a lot...

This is my first bimmer and I love this car man. I loved it soo much that I had to replace all 4 tires within the 1st year.

I wonder if anyone has crossed the 50K mile mark yet?
