I asked my sales to quote it for my mum, which is HKD25390 without NCB......so far I believe I get the highest insurance offer among any E9x non M3 owners here in HK.

p.s. my mum is one of the named drivers of company's cars, which got all 60% NCB with no claims.

Mind is strictly third party, so its around $6000-7000. Pretty cheap relatively speaking.

Not really. 3rd party only insurance should even be lower. my E90 320i was HKD13xx with 60% NCB.

u cannot just compare the price of the insurance, but also the excess and other coverage like windshield etc.

u need to get down to details for apple to apple.

Yeah, really. Mind is third party only. Supposedly this third party insurance is pretty good and better then average. Then again, I could be a sucker for paying so much if as you say, it should cost way less.

guys, mine is a full coverage, if it cost you over 25k for full insurance

thats really insane

check out Kwiksure, i am sure they have a better deal

for sime darby, they used to have a free windscreen replacement every year but not any more..

so why do you guys stick to this company?
it makes no difference

Just called Kwiksure and the quotation is:

E92 335i full 14500 (including 5k front screen replacement per yr) 3rd party only 2500 and E66 730Li 3rd party only for 2500. It only applies if this car is registered under my mum.

They couldn't quote me any for E92 335i and 6500 3 party only for 6500 if the car belongs to myself.

All 0 NCB.

anyone get ther E9X covered by Ping An Insurance?

I've tried to get a quote directly on their website, seems it's a lot cheaper.
I've quoted my 09 E90 for comprehensive coverage with 60% NCB for $31XX only.

Does it sound right to you guys?
