New BMW Owner

Hello all. I have searched and searched but cannot seem to find a couple simple answers. I am sure I do not know the correct terms but here I go:
I bought a 2011 328ix with the nav and BT. I would love to upgrade the iDrive to the latest software version but really unclear on what can actually be done. My biggest goal would be to get internet access on my nav screen. Where I live there is massive bridge construction happening and I am constantly looking at my Android phone for updates on Google traffic. If I could get it to display on my nav screen, that we be so much easier/better/safer.

anyone...? I assume this is possible. I was able to get my maps update to the 2015, just not sure if I can do anything more updates to iDrive. Thanks!

I've been looking for the same answer since I picked up my 09 328i this past weekend, I've not found an answer :/

Do a search on Combox retrofit. For the feature you are looking for requires hardware and software.

I think I have all of the correct Combox stuff - I just need some options activated. I just do not know where to start.
