wheels

hello people!
I hav a prob, im thinkin either gettin a set of oz Superturismo LM or BBS CHR in F 8.5x19 R 9.5x19 but im not sure wat ET to go for.
I dont want to do any body work or change the ride height as im happy with stock, i hav a 2007 330i m sport with the staggered mv4 alloys that are 8x19 and 9x19. not sure of the ET but as the mentioned wheels are wider will i have problems?

Thank u for your advise

ET35 all round is ideal for the E92 in those sizes (8.5J & 9.5J), and despite being slightly wider than your current wheels won't cause you a problem.

Your current wheels have offsets of ET37 front & ET39 rear.

Ian is right, not that I'd really know if I was wrong!!! I'm rubbish with Offsets.

HOWEVER. The CH-R is one of the most beautiful wheels ever made. Buy them immediately And will look great in the staggered offset..

hey guys thank u all for ur words of wisdom and for the praize in wheel choice!
bit of a stupid q but in evry1s opinion will the wider wheels require longer bolts/spacers or kno the best places to go for the wheels?

also will the wider wheels cause faster wear on suspension, steering or wheel bearings?

thank u all!

Get the wheels in the right offsets, and longer bolts/spacers won't be required, your existing bolts will suffice.
I'd advise getting some better locking wheel nuts, the OEM ones are far from secure,so put some McGards or Grayston lockers on your shopping list.

The wider wheels will cause no problems for the steering/suspension nor bearings, but it's always a good idea to get the wheels aligned from time to time, especially if you're fitting new rubber onto the new wheels.

Pop your P/code/town into here:

http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/

and find your nearest centre, expect to pay up to £100.00.

Looking into BBS-CHR wheels your best fitting wheels are the following:

Front - 8.5J x 19 ET32
Rear - 9.5J x 19 ET35

Your existing tyres can be swopped over, alternatively you can upsize to:
Front 235/35/19
Rear 265/30/19

The BBS - CHR are available in satin black, anthracite & silver, places to buy:

http://www.rimstyle.com/pages/basket/

http://www.performancealloys.com/BBS-alloy-wheels.aspx

http://www.dvbcaraudio.co.uk/alloy-w...l-p-13277.html

I'm sure there are other places, but I'm sure you know how to use Google, just like I do
