Hey TN_3, let me know if you get your rim repaired at the tint shop. I've got a nicely curbed rim myself, and want to get it taken care of... and still keep some cash in my wallet, too.

Wow already picked one up? Luckily I have never had a problem with a tire on a car yet.
*knock on wood* I am gonna call dave up. I think I might put back on the M6 reps, not sure though I want other rims!!

So I have the cash. Should I buy the Injen? Not sure if anyone on here will my AFE.
I want it gone. Well if I like the Injen better

it once it comes in. Might be ordering some Matte Black Window trim soon or an
M3 lip spoiler

Well, I stopped by Music City Tinting and talked to Dave. He gave me the number of the guy that does the wheel repair (which is the same guy who works at BMW Nashville), which I immediately called. He was on his way to Andrews Cadillac and said he would stop by Dave's to take a look at the rim. Well, he said he could fix it, and 45 mins later, it looked like new. This guy is good, and if you ever need any wheel work done (911, Alpine...) give him a call. PM me if you want his number/pricing info.

That's badass about the wheel. Glad to hear you got it fixed. I got some swag sent to me today from the dealer. I love free stuff.

Thinking about heading up to the Hill for a test and tune night on a Tuesday before they close it down for the season. Well once I get my intake on. I am shooting for a 9.3 or something like that. Probably only end up getting a 9.4

Might re-dyno the car 2. I asked Carma about having another dyno day since more people will come when it is cool
and be happyish...even though they have a dyno dynamics which reads super low..well compared to Dyno Jet. A guy I know
put out extremely good numbers on it. He had just AA tune and Eisenhaus Meisterchaft Sec 3 and put down 338whp...13% correction
factor for Dynojet and would have put down 381whp on a Dynojet. Not sure if that is right because that is a big difference. Even
though between stock and the AA tune switched on it was an 80whp difference.

The 381 you stated is probably crank HP and not wheel HP. 300 crank HP stock minus drivetrain losses of approximately 15% = 255 wHP plus 55wHP from AA tune (as claimed by AA website) = 310 whp. Add exhaust and it will bump you up some more which is closer to your 338 figure than the 381. The 381 is probably after correction factor for wheel to crank power. Of course different dynos will tell you a different story. We played with a couple different types of dynos in IC Engines course while I was at Tech and experienced this first hand.

This dyno dynamics reads 13% lower than Dyno jets do at the wheels. Dyno jet is dream maker.
Dyno dynamics is Tune God and well dream killer if hoping to make a lot of power

I feel weird rollin around on stockers even though I think they look
better than my M6 reps. Everyone says they look amazing and there is no better rim. I
hate explaing why I have to tell them otherwise

It sounds to me like the Dyno Dynamics is more realistic and the DynoJet is more optimistic.
