Finally Slammed!!!
Dropped on BBS RS-GTs(18x8.5 ET38/18x9 ET45), Koni Yellow shocks, H&R Sport springs, front Hotchkis sway bar w/endlinks, rear Macht Schnell 15mm spacers. Thanks to this forum/some forum members for used items/advice. Big thanks to Performance Race Solutions(PRS) out in Sanford, FL. They installed everything and aligned on in house equipment w/corner balancing. Dropped off Thur morning, got it back Fri afternoon. Quick install w/some in house project cars getting work done also. Better launches w/no body squat. Corners so much better w/less body roll compared to my old OEM sport suspension and ride is not harsh at all. It def handles better with a sporty feel. Barely any wheel gap in the rear and the front has maybe 1 finger. In a couple of weeks the springs will settle down lower. Before/after pics. Thanks for viewing.

i love those wheels. car is looking clean and looks like you're building it properly instead of half-assed.
but just fyi, that's not close to being called "slammed". even after the springs settle.

I could go lower with some coilovers I guess but roads around here in FL are crappy so don't want to damage the suspension or crack my oil pan.

If you don't mind pm me, how do you like the spring shock combo? How does it ride?
Cornering thoughts?

If you want "slammed", pair yourself up with the race or just run some spacers as is.

Not to sound like a dick but your car isn't "slammed" i still see gap. It's "lowered" but not slammed. I can't even fit one finger under my wheel wells and i won't say i'm "slammed" your not on bags.
You live in FL where you guys have no winters, try driving around NYC roads and harsh winters, if i lived in FL my car would be down to the ground. |

Omg. Let the guy live. He is clearly very excited about his new wheels and springs.
OP, you did one thing right so far (BBS) and that's better than most of the other members. Get yourself some enormous spacers too.

Live in Clermont/Orlando area. Maybe moving to Atlanta soon. I grew up down south in west Boca area. Many nice areas down there, kind of miss it.

Sorry folks. Didn't mean to be that literal with the word "Slammed." Just excited the my ride is lowered now. When I first bought it 1.5 years ago, wasn't happy with the OEM runflats and how it wheel hops sometimes, scary feeling. So when I upgraded to non runflats and lowered the suspension, the difference is night and day and makes this 335i more of a driving machine. Future upgrades on suspension on lower/upper M3 control arms, rear sawy bar, front/rear bushings. Im kind of a newbie on here so I apologize for any misunderstandings. Thanks for all of the kind comments and taking time to view my car. Tried to change the title from Slammed to Lowered, but don't know how...tried editing on the edit button, only lets me edit the quote, not the title.
