newer tires on front messing with my x-drive?

So I've had my 328xi for a few months now, and I was driving today when several dash lights came on including the "Brake" light and a few others, and the info screen displayed "4x4!" as well. I did some searching on the forum, and it seems like a few people have had similar experiences for different reasons. I e-mailed my SA and he said it sounded like a wheel speed sensor and that it was fine to drive until they could get me an appt next week.

When I bought my car a few months ago, the seller had replaced the front tires with potenza re760 sports, but it still has the original RFTs on back. My best estimate is that the RFTs have almost 29k on them while the Potenzas have only about 4k or 5k. Would this mess with the "rolling diameter" I keep reading about? I'm planning on swapping them all out for winter tires pretty soon, but do you think these mismatched tires could be the cause of my issue? Or (better question) do you think the dealer will give me grief because of this? Thanks in advance!

The tires are the same size in front and back 205/55-16
