I think that both cars look amazing stripes and all.
White Touring is killer. Alpinas are great driving machines and historical in BMW history. The stripes are part of the heritage. If you dont like them, order your car without them. Simple as that |

Alpina is not for everyone. It's like an acquired taste. I used to hate it but now I love it and wouldn't change a thing. It's like wearing Thomas Pink shirt and Tie. Completely different and loud in a different way, not flashy like Versace but loud.

I've always loved Alpina's style...rims and stripes included! I've been noticing a common trend, in this Alpina thread and others, that most So Cal residents don't like the Alpina treatment. So Cal has its own unique style when it comes to modifications also, people from other locations would say "flashy" or perhaps "ricey". I've seen some beautiful cars from LA don't get me wrong.
I'm not looking to incite an argument, mainly pointing out an observation. Anyway I think the cars are beautiful and wish I could get one in the States.

Alpina normally present their show cars in a range of disgusting colour combo's just to show whats possible. They have a "we'll do what you say, no matter how tasteless it is" policy. I don't like any of the colours combo's on display here - I ordered my E92 B3 in black sapphire with saddle brown leather. They charge £2500 on top for one of the "alpina" colours - blue or green - as its repainted by Alpina.
PS I had the engine remapped a bit and its currently offering 378bhp and 430lb/ft
