what's up, guys? Just wanted to introduce myself, as I'm new around these parts (forum that is). Got a 2007 e92 Montego Blue 335i sometime late last summer.
All I've done is dropped in a new BMS panel filter and tint. I'll be looking to mod further here shortly. Currently, considering the Cobb AP; in addition, to a new FMIC and downpipes. Depends how the market goes this year. |

Welcome. I'm a e92 335i 6mt Space Gray/Coral in Creve Coeur. Haven't seen a Montego e92 around lately, absolutely love that color on the e92.
I'd like to know who the other Space Gray e92 335i I keep seeing at Monsanto belongs to... |

I'm a St. Louis guy too. Just purchased my 3rd BMW. It's a space grey on oyster 2011 335i xdrive m sport. I'm recent member of the StL chapter of the bmwCCA and interested in meet ups.

Checking in from South County/Arnold. Sparkling Graphite Metallic E90, JB4, some e85, I/C, downpipes... Last car was my home-built twin 60mm turbo G8 GT in nearly the same color.
Anyone locally do coding?? I want that Alpina flash

I work in Fenton (sigh) so we're likely to run into each other sooner or later. If you find someone who can code post it up cause I'm interested in some more basic codes. Ex - I want my side mirrors to fold in when I lock the vehicle...
How do you like the Jb4? Ever attend any StLBMWCCA events? Last edited by moorlander; 05-02-2013 at 01:55 PM.. |

JB4 is awesome. I really need the ISO setup, and would kill for a Cobb flash, but this car is never going to be "fast". Hoping a decent day at the track will net the 119-120mph that I'm looking for. I'm pushing about 17-18psi according to the dash gauge (JB4 perk).

Yeah the hill country out in St. Chuck is a drivers paradise. (The area south of 64 and north of the MO river) Be careful around the wineries because there's lots of tipsy driver traffic and police. I love to take 64 out to DD and down to defiance then over the river in Washington then back up 44. 2 weekends ago I went out to Innsbrooke and back through New Melle. Some great scenery there.
I've almost pulled the trigger on the Cobb a few times but I'm too pussy to do it with 4yrs warranty left. I'm not a straight line guy, I'm all abou the low end torque and the twisties. In my book Quick>Fast Be sure to post pics when you get those new shoes. |

Got the new wheels/tires on. Already "miss" the runflats in some respect. Turn-in, response, road feel has really diminished. But the trade-off in tire wear, and keeping the rear wheels planted is enough. Before: After: Then did the tails:

Mainly BMW MB and Porsche His name is Justin. He does great work and I always trusted him with my 335 till I traded it in. PM me if you want his number. Also if anyone in the STL area is looking to trade up or for a new BMW I work at the new Carmax in South County as a sales consultant and can help you find another BMW or whatever you might be looking for.

So I've got a question that's a reach, but I figure what have I got to lose.
Do any of you happen to know the person in St Louis who leased a 2011 335is 6MT, BSM, Black Dakota, Premium, HK, with the 225M's from ~10/10-10/12? I know how exceedingly rare the car's combination of 6MT and 225M's is (while ~130 Black on Black 6MT coupes were built, almost no one spec'd 225M's), so there was probably only 1 in St Louis. I purchased the car myself last spring (my budget for a fun toy was capped such that a new 335is was out of the question) and while the car was spec'd exactly as I wanted and extremely low mileage (~15K) it unfortunately was missing all the original paperwork. Most notably the window sticker and other car specific documents. These are more than likely sitting in some drawer at their house, and I'd be willing to pay to get them. Like I said, this will more than certainly lead nowhere, but if any of you have any leads, if the person's actually a member on bimmerpost, etc., I'd be beyond appreciative to know so I can shoot them a PM (or they can PM me). Not trying to track down any personal info whatsoever, just the paperwork a car comes with that you usually pass along at sale. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Do they (or anyone else for that matter) do walnut shell valve blasting? Newbold in Fairview Heights (IL) has the equipment but have told me that they've never done it before and I would be their guinea pig. Not too amped about that, nor the price they wanna charge.
