Yes that beast when mixed racing was allowed. I dont know how the fuel flow limitations are different from now till then but i assume boost is restricted and flow and these new engines will be around 650bhp?

It will change the racing dynamics as i assume they wont need to be the top engine all of the time to produce peak power?

Merc are predicting 700+ the 1.5l that ran at the 82 US GP [ i think it was] had some very trick engine mods that are now banned, shame really as they were making 1000bhp back then.

With double the KERS output too?

That should be quite significant then i should think!

KERS will be a major factor if we can get it reliable, the batteries are still a pain in the arse to keep cool. The 50kg fuel loss will help with balancing them out though. Wont have to be so tightly compact.

I would think so, i know it has plagued you guys for quite some time now

Thats a very important defensive and offensive weapon that if it didnt work is quite a burden to be lugging round and with the power increase would be devastating not to have it.

Personally i'm not keen on it in racing but i can see where they are going with it.

yep saw that looks much nicer and they did need to redeem themselves - i cant remember but did they just shield the nose step air duct thingy with a nose design but the air flow still goes in.

What did that even do, cant remember.

Well your not going to show your hand are you

But doesn't stop us general public from getting excited at the nice new designs

It's just nice to see a better nose and sidepods on a ferrari again; i'm sure the front back and sides will all be different by Australia.
