DTC and Cruise Control

I found out yesterday that when you switch off DTC the cruise control does not work! Have not checked manual on this yet, but do they all do this?

Yes!

Cruise control relies on yaw information from DTC/DSC to work out when you are going too fast into a corner (& will brake/reduce engine speed / apply opposite lock (if you have active steering)) to counter the effect, so it won't work when you've switched the DTC/DSC off.

I'm sure NFS can add the details, if you really want them!

Don't start that mess off again Viv.

Perhaps we should devote a couple of hours to it at UK3?

A 'mess'-

I'll be happy devoting a good 2 minutes to it- 1 minute watching the MF press the button once & leave a nice skid mark on the path & 1 minute watching him holding the button down for a few secs & leaving a horizontal skid mark, as he moves towards a brick wall at the side of the road!
