It's about 400 dollars per piece. That should give you a good paint job with several coats of base/clear and wetsanding.

It's a good price - but keep in mind, all painters are not created equal. You really should find out what is involved in that price. How many coats of base? How many of clear? What brand of paint? Will they wetsand/polish once done? What's the warranty on the paint?

Asking the right questions may save you a lot of money and heart ache in the near future.

so i emailed a couple shops with the questions stimpy suggested. which shop sounds best? im thinking shop #1 just because of warranty. i still have a couple more shops to ask though

Shop #1:
"Can you send be pictures of the parts. I need to know the condition of the existing paint or I may need to even see the to evaluate the preparation time. If they are in very good shape it would be around $ 1,150.00. The base coat is applied for color and coverage only, probably 3 coats of base. The clear coat needs a certain amount of millage or thickness for durability, probably 21/2 coats of clear. We do wet sand and polish, the brand we spray is Standox. "

Shop #2
"$850 painted installed. 3 coats of base 3 coats of clear. Transtar paint and clear is used. Will wetsand and polish depending on if it is needed or not. Usually when we paint body kits we only need to polish the bumpers. Body kits are in areas of the car that are prone to damage so we would not warrenty any damages casued by hitting something in the road that would make the paint crack and such."

Not really familiar with those brands, but I usually get my parts painted with dupont or PPG paint. Which I think is the best.
