What kind of music do you jam to in your e90?

I know this sort of thing is impossible to poll, but I want to try anyways. Sorry if this has been done before, but it's just that I want to see what is playing on e90 sound systems around the world. If you can drop a couple of names, that's even better. Thanks in advance!

The other day I was listening to some mp3's in my car at a red light when the player came upon "Voyage, Voyage" by Desirelss. It's such an awesome (80s) song I had to lower my windows, open the sunroof, turn off the AC, and put my car in DS. I turned up the volume and when the light turned green, I sped off (not floored, just quickly). Man, it felt good to be in my car just then.

Other music that makes me speed: Eurobeat.

Oh, I know a song is good when it makes me want to put my car in DS (or drop a gear or two in a MT). :rocks:

Oh, sorry if your favorite genre is nowhere to be found. I tried to cover all the bases while consolidating similar types of music, but the list is way too long as it is.

(e.g. "Where's Bhangra / Bollywood?" etc.)

Bhangra is awesome, I know. Just click on Int'l and post on it.

(e.g. "Daler Mehndi is the rawness incarnate." etc.)

Thanks!! I'm excited about this thread!

My tastes vary widely according to what mood I'm in. My iPod contains a very eclectic library... one day I have Led Zeppelin blasting... the next it might be a Mozart piano concerto - or anything in between.

Two things it will never be: Country or Rap/Hip-hop

That's right. This is exactly why I love the iPod. I can decide what I want to listen to depending on mood. Right now I'm back in the progressive rock era of the 70s. Genesis, Pink Floyd, PFM (anyone know who these guys are????). That's why I see no point in voting.

Seconds Out, anyone?

Dude - that was the best era of rock, hands down. I think you need to add Yes to that list!

I think you have me stumped with PFM... here's one for you: Nectar.
