Rant to inform my Tucson AZ BMW Owners! Shops here aren't tuner friendly!

I've been in Tucson, AZ for almost three years and Phoenix, AZ 3 years prior. Thing I noticed majority of shops half ass body work or aren't friendly with aftermarket inputs. For instance...I want to have some work done with my intercooler because I'm just too busy with work and my newborn so I was calling around town to see labor costs...no one was able to give me a ballpark quote over the phone, which is totally unacceptable for a straight forward install. As well with rudeness on the side (guy at Group one motorwerks) telling me I shouldn't put a aftermarket intercooler on top of a tune on my car which can lead to bad piston and said the n54 is nothing but a delicate engine and it's factory tune isn't safe to improve...like who the hell you think you are telling me what to do with my car? Just a rant to inform my fellow AZ bmw owners!

I'm talking just shops in Tucson, AZ..not shops in Phoenix which there are many I've had experience with for my bmw and STI (vivid racing)
