Stock Tires of 328i xDrive Sport

Hi everyone,

Does anyone happen to know for sure what tires are installed on the 328i xDrive when equipped with the sport package? It know it has 225/45R17 up front and 255/40R17 in the rear. I also know the stock (non-sport model) has 16s with all-seasons. Is anyone certain on whether the xDrive version is summer tires or all seasons?

I suspected it was all-season since the configurator on BMW's website didn't say anything about it performing poorly in the winter (as it does with tires on the 335i Sport or 135i M Sport). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have the sport package on my 328i xDrive, but I do have the optional non staggerd 17 inch wheels which came with all season Continental tires. Not sure if the staggered wheels on the sport package use different tires though.

The sports package includes summer tires (at least my car did; it is a 2010 328i xDrive wagon).

Sport package on xi uses also summer tire... so you will need winters (and there is no 255/40R17 RFT winter tires).
