Looks amazing! I went with the same setup as I didn't want to run 19's either. I'm thinking I can get away with 15mm front and 10mm back spacers as there seems to be a lot of room. I also plan on putting on Michelin PSS 235/265 and SP lowering perches for the summer.

you mean "width" and not track. track is the measurement between the wheel hubs, horizontally (from either front or rear view of the car).

and why would those guys think that set up would rub? even if you put on the typical 235/265 tire setup for those widths, it still wouldn't rub.

nice wheels though. M359's are one of my favorite oem style wheels. so much that i got rid of my lm reps for it. lol

Very nice. great choice. How much did they cost if you don't mind me asking? I have 19"s on mine. And yes I do get some tire rub. Which I can live with since its avoidable; however, I do want to look for a new wheel set to switch to here and there so I can drive with no worries. And these wheels look awesome.
And great shots!

haha, yeah spacers will probably work. Post some more pics of the new setup if you can - I know your photos were the only set out there for visualization. I was still worried some about the tire stretch, but it isn't bad at all.

I stand corrected. The guys first mounted the fronts without the tires and thought that they were too close to the wheel well assembly (probably 2 finger widths away from it). They came back to me and said it won't work. I told them to still mount it anyways, and to their surprise there was no issue. Agreed with your preference for the 359's

The guys at discount tire do not know shit. Lol. If they thought those would rub and at that height I would love to bring them a set of my wheels.

You need a drop ASAP and then would look alot better. Looks very OEMish which I think is what your going for?

Congratz and enjoy

Exactly

Looks completely stock and that wheel gap is pretty bad.

Nice looking car though.

Totally agreed, those DT folks don't know their ass from their elbow.

Haha, thanks. Wheel gap is... well not ideal for some on the forum, but it works more than sufficiently for me. The offsets are however more aggressive compared to stock. Although there still could be more and the ride height is high compared to many guys on here with their suspension mods, I still prefer to not inconvenience myself while driving around the city. Houston roads can be pretty unforgiving at times.

The key here was to demonstrate a simple cosmetic mod for those who don't necessarily want to go all out

Haha, almost everyone has a similar comment for project on the topic in these threads. It's all good though, we're one of, or probably THE most diverse and active auto enthusiast communities - which is a good thing.

Haha when I finally get around to getting my rims the first thing I'm going to do, even before getting tires, is get a set of coilovers just because of you.

not slowing down for bumpers in a BMW is asinine, lowered or not you should just plow thru bumps. thats how strut towers get crowned
