e93 320i extra power & iDrive tv tuner
Hi all,
New to this. Just got myself my first BMW! Very pleased with it 320i se convertible. But was 'm-sport-ed' by BMW themselves. M sport body & 19 inch wheels, but softer se suspension, best of both worlds! Just curious if anyone has got a little more power out of theirs? Remap would be a poss, anything else? But I don't want to go tuning it like its some sort of a civic, I don't think that's fitting for BMW....? Also I've got the pro iDrive system which is great, just wanted to know if anyone has fitted the TV tuner option? I know this is an optional extra out the factory. Cheers! I'm pretty sure the 2.0 petrol is considered pretty much untunable, I've read that a remap is a waste of money .
Enjoy the new car though ,sure you will.

There's a fairly comprehensive discussion on remapping a 320i here:

Induction kit and stainless sport exhaust system is probably your best option should get a few extra ponys n replacing spark plugs with some high end ones other than that no big performance mods you can do really gonna affect it

IanS100 - I can't seem to see the link to that.
Spark plugs, basic mechanics might be an idea, good thought. I've read on places such as remap science boost it up to 185bhp. Do wonder if that's achievable? |
