On average I've heard of wraps being $1.5k-2k. Quality vinyl alone will cost $400-600 for a full car wrap.

A quality respray will be atleast 6-8k if you want it done right, and that's probably not even including the engine bay. Not only that, but then your cars resale value takes a hit as you no longer have original paint.

Painting definitely takes way more equipment, product, work and skill than vinyl wrapping.

We can definitely help you out

Wraps start at $2500 including materials. Can be cheaper, but we use 3M scotch print (not cheap vinyl).

Fee free to PM me for details, we'd love to work on your Wrangler as we're starting up our Off-road shop (ACOR)

Here's my 135 we wrapped:

I am interested in vinyl wrapping too. How long does the 3M wrap last if the car it outside 24/7/365? I heard 3-5 years. My car is basically never away from the elements unless I drive out to the city and park in a garage. $2500 is a great price IMO.

That is my problem really hard for me to avoid the sun where I park every day.

Work? Shooting gun is a lot of work? LOL. You must be under an illusion that you don't have to do body work when doing vinyl.

The only skill there is when using a gun is properly setting the paint, once again once you already know what you are doing this takes few minutes.

If you have brand new car with brand new panels, prepping it + shooting it will always be faster. Not to mention you can't wrap everything alone and will need to have two person team.

I'm not talking about a car as old as yours. Most of the people with newer cars on this site can have their wrapped as is, no work required. Spraying isn't as easy as you make it seem, the prep work, making sure your mixtures right, getting the right amount of orange peel, wetsanding and polishing to remove swirls. Theres a reason a good paint job costs 3 times as much.
