Help! System Too Lean Fault Codes 07 e93
Hey Guys,
My 07 e93 is throwing a ton of codes with SES light on. Im getting a P116E-Manufacturer Control P0171-System too Lean Bank 1 P0174-System too Lean Bank 2 P0113-Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High Car runs totally fine. For the past few months it has had a random "hiccup" at stoplights on idle, but could never pinpoint the issue…No SES light until the other day with all of these codes. I cleaned the MAF and connector with MAF cleaner. Also unplugged MAF and ran car to see if there was a change in the way it ran. When unplugged, the car ran like crap..Which leads me to believe the MAF is OK. Checked air hoses for cracks/leaks-nothing Did the oil filler cap pressure test-I can easily remove the cap with the engine running which makes me think PCV is ok. Before going to the stealership, and advice on what this could be? Again, car runs fine…But I cannot clear the codes. They come right back. 07 e93 with 87k miles. Thanks for any pointers! |

could be malfunctioning o2`s
they do take a beating from all the heat if you find cheap primary sensor swap them out, lean = insufficient fuel ( injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter ) or computer unable to verify & adjust mixture ( o2`s or maf ) if you have one of those ELM 327 Bluetooth thing's and an iphone or android app or someone with a serious scanner you could verify the AFR and log it at different throttle points, rpm and engine loads. |
