I was nervous Cobb would not be aggressive enough but with just tune, i'm extremely happy. Stage 2+ aggressive should put me well into the 12's. I just can't wait for Cobb to come out with a race gas map...
Thanks for the info. You definitely made the right call. I skipped straight from Stage 1 Sport 4.01 to Stage1+ aggressive 4.01, running 20% E85 to make sure I didn't have detonation issues. According to the logs it was pulling 3 degrees of timing by the end of the pass on Stage1+ due to air charge temps, even though there was no detonation. Only went 2mph faster...100->102. I definitely need to try the aggressive 3.01 map...I'd love to hit 105. I ran 12.9s all day at 105 in my Mitsubishi.

Interesting. I'm considering running stage 1 aggressive with 91 and a couple gallons of e85. However, I don't really need the extra power unless I'm at the track. I think fmic next then dp's and go for mid 12's at the track and leave it there until a race fuel map comes out.

Would like 11's out of my Audi though :-p

I might go. I'm on 2.5 gallons of e85 and the rest of tank 91 and the car feels very strong on stage 1 aggressive.

Might bring my audi, unsure at this point but want to meet all of you guys.

I look forward meeting you there! I can't wait for an e-thug to beat the crap out of me.

Again, you wouldn't have gotten so offended if you werent selling unsafe tires. I didn't accuse you of doing so. I asked legitimate questions. Low mileage tires mean nothing if they're old and have been sitting around for years. Do your research....

Apparently. I guess mrvuml was trying to sell a set of tires and Alfred asked for the production year and he got all pissed off. Somthing like that.

Aren't you 54?

I wasn't critizing you. I simply asked you questions. Why did you get so offended if your tires are good tires? Why did you delete your thread if you believe they're good tires? I didn't tell anyone not to buy your tires, or your tires were bad. Again, for the 10000th time, I simply asked you some questions about the tires. Learn how to read!

I do not have bald tires. I am the last person you want to be talking to about having bald tires as I have had at least 5-6 different set of tires in my 2 years owning this car.

One last comment about this. I'm not going in circle with you on this. I never accused you of anything. I asked you questions about the production dates of the tires (and, told you I wasn't interested in buying). You then rudely said to mind my own business if I wasn't interested. Then, I said tires cannot be good if left unused for some years, and that tires have expiration dates. You then got ticked off for no reason whatsoever. Never once I said your tires weren't good. YOU made that assumption yourself.

I can say whatever I want to. It's a public forum. I can warn others of other people, things people are selling, etc. (Just like others warn other members of scammers. Again, don't assume that I said you're a scammer, because I didn't say that)

For anyone interested in the true facts, I posted that I have a a set of original Bridgestone Potenza performance tires for sale that had about 5,000 miles on them when I took them off my 2008 335i 3 years ago when I replaced them with a set of All-Seasons.
If you say so. I know what I said.

I'm not getting in between your little cat fight but this is how I see it. Alfred was probably interested in purchasing your tires (because we all know that Alfred goes through more tires than Discount) so he did have a right to ask. If you think your tires were still in good shape, then there was no need to delete the post. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blaH........etc............. what about them Rockies eh?

Anyways, I might be going. Crossing my fingers that I get my car back today or tomorrow.

I moved to the Stage 1 Aggressive 3.01 map and would love to come out and take a shot at King mode's numbers before I put on an intake and IC, but between the heat and being super busy at work I know it's not going to happen.

Feels pretty good on the street, but it's impossible for me to tell with the butt-o-meter if I picked up anything close to what he reported. I'm confident that I'm not any slower than I was on Stage1+ 4.01, though.

I have a full tank at this point but drive 50+ miles per day so I might make it this week. It will be warm but honestly, I have been drag racing for 10 years at bandimere and Ive had some of my best times on hot hot days (not sure why).

I would like to see you go after my tune + drop in time Lets see how you run and I can let you borrow my drop in filter and see if it changes your time at all??

With this 335xi, i shift at 6000-6200 and seem to get the best results. How bout the rest of you?? I might even try 5800 rpm on a run...

12's on only tune and drop in might be physically impossible.....Maybe on a 335i with a crazy good launch? the xi slows me down at the end of the track.

However, if there are a few peeps going, I will likely join.

With my Mitsubishi I always ran my best numbers on cool (50s,low 60s) days with the motor cooled off a lot and the IC cold. I did notice last time (first time) with the 335 my best time was when I was annoyed at my launch and pulled right back around. All I was trying to do was get a decent launch (6mt) and I was not expecting to get my best time.

I'll try to keep it in mind, but it seems really unlikely. How crowded has it been so far this year? I went on a private day so I didn't get a feel for it.

Anything is possible at 105+. But yeah...since so far I'm about a tenth off my Mitsu 60' times for the same trap speed, I'm thinking it would take 106-107. Might be really close, though, at 105.

Yeah, in general my better times are when car is cool, air is cool. I guess my best launchs are when its hot and I get good times from that.
