Talking 09 335i options?

Hi All,
I'm looking at getting an 09 335i coupe and was wondering if the audiophile sounds package (ZQA) is worth it?

My current config looks like this...
WB73 - 335i coupe
300 - Alpine white
LCD10 - Coral Red Dakota

ZKO - Executive Package (09)
ZQA - Audiophile Sound Package
ZQK - Sport Package (09)
LEA-D Dakota Leather
2R4 - 19inch Star spoke alloy wheels

Negotiated 4% off... Still looking to do better. How much room is there to move on price?

Audiophile and Nav are the same price... Which one to choose??? Thx

Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thx

I have basically the same car (09' 335xi coupe, AW, coral red). I have basically all options, but did not know they made the Logic7 a stand alone option! I'm not much of an audiophile, but I do not find the stock system all that great without it. You DEFINITELY want the Nav/iDrive for '09 - so, in short, get BOTH!

I also highly recommend the aero front at least (rear is nice and I got it, but many did not). I do NOT recommend the 19" tires. The 18's are perfect.

Thanks for the reply, so if I drop the 19's ($1500) and add an extra $500 than I can have the navi... yes the new 09 idrive does work so much better

Just curious as to why you do not recommend the 19's? Thx

Because it price a lot more reasonable than before,
because it integraded so well with the bluetooth,
because I hate the crumblesome wiring on a aftermarket navi,
because it make the interior looks way way better,

So without the navi, if my phone is paired with the car where does the caller info, phonebook etc... appear? On the single line audio display or the display between the tach and the speedo?

- It's still $2000.
- I'll have bluetooth standard with the new '09 335i, but it's not an option I would pay extra for.
- I don't use any navi systems yet, portable or otherwise.
- I agree with this last point.. it does add something to the interior/dash.

Personally i'd go for the audio upgrade, its well worth it; the sound quality is very good. Im not a fan if the nav package; I'm old school, and to me, the less electronics in a car, the better...Plus the nav screen looks like a tumour in the dashboard

the new nav has improved so much that you wouldnt wanna miss it... it is very worth it.. for the price..and thinking what you are getting..HD screen and all the new features...

to Dave...in NA still only steptronic is available according to my understanding, correct me if i am wrong, but NA has not yet make DCT transmission as an option

The Executive Package comes with some "nice to have" features. However, the only things that draw my attention are the heated steering wheel and park distance control. The remaining features are not something I'd be in a hurry to get. Just my opinion, of course.

I certainly can't use the heated steering wheel in the summer and how often do you get blinded by bright lights with your side mirrors? On the other hand, I can use the Audio and Nav everytime I get in the car. (note: I can use the "nav" to control the audio system, which is a bonus for me.. a 1-line radio display is quite outdated).

Sure, the Executive Package is great, but to me it's not $2200 great. I'd be willing to pay up to $1000 for it, no more. I think the Executive Package is what's left of the Premium Package (pre-2009), since the sunroof is now standard equipment.

For what it's worth, I went with the Audio and Nav. Hope this helps.

To me the exec pkg is much more desireable than nav and audiophile.

If I don't get the audiophile pkg on the 335i (or premium logic 7 on the 328i), I'd still get the USB integration as a standalone, at $425. Which makes the sound upgrade really a ~$1600 decision on the 335i and a $1100 one on the 328i.

If I don't get the exec pkg, I'd STILL want comfort access, if it's even still possible to get standalone. It used to be a $750 option on the '08s, but it's not shown on website for '09s.

The Nav pkg seems like a waste to me. I rarely have a need to even pull out a map let alone have a need for a computerized nav system. I actually would use things like the alarm system, comfort access, auto-dimming mirrors, etc. from the Exec pkg. MUCH MUCH more often.

If I had to rank the 3 pkgs in priority to me:
#1 Exec
#2 Audiophile
#3 Nav
