Alcon brake kit guinea pig = me

I was contacted by a friend to be a test fitter for a 365mm big brake kit from Alcon on my 335i. They are swapping cars with me in the next week or so..they will then let me try them..and give my impressions. I have known the company and employees for some time...so this is no cost to me at this point. I will let you guys know how it turns out...this most likely will be a viable alternative to a Brembo kit. If I decide to keep..they will cut me some kind of cost deal. I will let you guys know of my honest opinions about this set-up. These guys are normally not BMW tuners..but well known in racing circles and with another manufacturer. Keep tuned.

Can't wait to see them...if you can take some pics with your new VS7's that would be great! Thanks, and good luck.

Nice, Alcon's are amazing.

Too bad they dont make 4 wheel kits though. Didn't even have 4 wheel kits for the Evo.

And yeah, I know rear BBK's are really just for looks, but I'm very anal about things being "even"

Please give your impressions on how they compare to Stoptech. I know it's two different cars, different sized rotors, 4 piston vs. 6 piston, but I'd still appreciate your input.

I'll probly end up going with a Stoptech 4 wheel kit, even if these are "better" just cause I know having miss matched brakes front and rear is going to bother the hell out of me. Still let us know how you like them, and find out if there's any plans for a rear kit.
