Before and After SteveAZ LPFP Kit

I finally decided to go with the inline LPFP setup a few weeks ago and wanted to show you guys a before and after log. This is on my PTF E45 map and the white line represents my original LPFP with 74k miles on it and the red line represents a new LPFP with SteveAZ install kit.

I highly recommend getting this kit from him if you are looking to go with an inline setup.

Here is a before and after with 93 in the tank.

I think he's waiting on a few fittings but should have them in a few days.

so you did replace the old lpfp and added in steves kit ? just wonder how it looked with new pump and then with the inline added .

I sent the entire thing to him already assembled so he wouldn't have had a chance.

But if you're interested in some of that type of data

I don't know if he's seen this or not...I did tell him that his pump flow tested very low. I didn't show it in this round of testing, but when I adjusted the pressures to 75 PSI it was dismal (less than 50% of normal)

, it was definitely "tired".

*Please excuse my setup..it's a work in progress

and I have more parts coming

first and foremost a new adjustable power supply (12-15V 35A) with volt and amperage gauges.

In the meantime these tests were done with a 12v battery that read slightly under 12volts during operation

Anyway..the tests...

Yessir....not only are we running stronger...we're running "greener"

Your pump bucket (pump itself is 86'd) has been recycled and is in my car running 100% E85 at this very moment.

Technically I should be getting one of those clean air plates to drive in the carpool lane

but who the heck wants a baby blue plate with a bunch of clouds on it

What is required psi for lpfp? My cobb ap show 72 psi at idle,but what about going WOT??? I mean how can i understand my stock pump is still good or no?

What psi numbers is allright on WOT???

@bmwm3redblack you want to see 72.5 flat at idle. It will fluctuate under WOT and heavy load, even a really well flowing setup will spike and dip a fair amount. What you don't want to see is a trend line falling below 60PSI or so. If it is not holding 50PSI, the pump should be replaced.

My car is all sorts of F'd up right now, but this is what "good" looks like WOT. Jstang's is strong as well.

No. It is going to show lower than 72 psi. It's when it drops below 50 you need to be concerned.

No setup just holds 72PSI flat…As noted it’s sustained pressure dropouts that you don’t want to see. If your setup is consistently supporting over 50-60PSI, it is doing OK. And the bottom line from a fueling standpoint are your trims and AFR targets, so that’s the first thing to be mindful of.

I checked the live data tonight, and got the lowest 61 psi and the highest 90 psi. So i hope it's ok???

so the lowest 61 psi is allright? And i can just install walbroo255 kit to support my lpfp?
As i've understood no lpfp replacement needed?
