NEED more power!
I need help with upgrades. I have a 2007 328xi 6MT and want some more power out of my engine. There has got to be some upgrades that can be done to this car! Without upgrading to the 335.

AA tune, good exhaust system (I recommend the MMW CS Muffler or BMW PE), light weight rims and good tires (non run flat), get a K&N drop in, some scoops.
your not going to get a lot of power out of the 328, but thats a start. you could always wait for the MMW Supercharger to come out. or do a 3-stage manifold upgrade. all depends on how much money you have and are willing to spend.

if you're THAT under satisfied with power, this may not be the car for you. lots of ways of improving handling, braking, etc but power is not one of them. chip, exhaust, intake, all that might yield 10-15 hp max. headers would help but they're really pricey.

OP, the 328xi is an amazing car, with that being said I have done some nice upgrades "power" wise to my 2011 328 that have yielded nice results for me.
AA tune BMW perf. exhaust K&N drop in air filter charcoal delete air scoops with all of that you should be looking at a very nice gain. Maybe even close to a 330's power. GL. |

I love the car and its got decent performance. Like I said i do not want to go to an STI or 335 or put in nitrous.
I just want to add a little more to make the car that much more fun to drive. I am considering an intake however I am not impressed with anything on the market. Is there room to modify an intake and drop it in the fron bumber out of the engine bay? Has anyone done this successfully? As far as exhauts i am not impressed with many on the market either. I would like a slight horsepower/torque upgrade without making the car sound ridiculously loud. A nice throaty sound would be nice when i punch it would be nice tho. I still have 50,000 miles on the warranty so a ecu tune is out of the question although I do like AA products. Thanks in advance for all the help |

But as for software flashes, the dealer cant tell if a car is tuned by a flash. they have no way to scan for the software at all, so there is no risk of warranty damage by doing it. Just a thought |

Here is what I have done and what I'm going to do.
Done so far: BMS Power Box BMW Performance Intake with Carbon Cut out MMW Performance Exhaust ( there is a post if you want to hear what this sounds like. It's under MMW CS Muffler and it's video from the inside of my car) Suspension w/VMR Rims and Tires Scoops. I noticed alot with the power and I like the way it came out. That is just me. Also I'm under warranty and have had no issues with anything at the dealership. Future Upgrades: 3 Stage Manifold AA or OE Tuning Meth injection (looking into this) Supercharger (Craven's)
