What oil do you use?
My 325d needs a top up.
Searching on here showed that Mobil 1 is popular - stupid question, but is that just normal "Mobil 1" ie can it go in petrol and diesel engines? Cheers |

i was thinking about topping up does it make a difference what oil i use as i dont know what bmw put in

Ring up and ask them mate, If not stick in Castrol edge 5w30 i think 0w 30 might be too thin for a 320d?!

While we're on the subject of Mobil 1, in France it costs half as much as it does in rip-off Britain, so it's worth grabbing some from the hypermarket if doing a booze cruise

castrol for sure but they normally quote "slx", even though that has been sperceded by "sport edge"

I always top-up both the 320d and 335d with Castrol Edge Turbo Diesel 0W30.
