goddamnit are you kidding me. I have a useless Cobb AP collecting dust then.
NO

Just send the DME-version to COBB if it doesn't install...

Maybe they can do something for you

Sorry to say your COBB is unusable for your model year ... You could ask cobb to participate on the beta testing... Else you just need to wait... Who knows how long

2015 BMW M3  [0.00]
FMIC installed on Saturday and loaded up the Stage 1+ map.....Loving the new map! The car responds almost instantly, the pull is tight, the power curve is smooth, and that poor crossfire on the toll road didn't know what hit him! Can't wait to get the downpipe on and for cobb to get the Stage 2+ all shored up.

I just put my Forge FMIC on as well and put the new map on. I think the stage 1+ with FMIC runs alot smoother than the stage 1 aggressive I had before. Throttle response is much smoother and the car seems to idle alot better when stopped in traffic.

BS!

I asked COBB myself!

Just buy the AP, send the ROM to them, if it works you're fine, if it doesn't work you get your money back!

Ask them polite

Yea I've noticed the aggressive map has some kind of weird issue when under moderate acceleration. It may be the way the car builds boost but it almost feels... like... I dunno hard to explain. Like the power is on a sine wave kinda. Hard to explain.

The ECU type was revised sometime in 2012 (April maybe) and most after that build date aren't currently supported as far as I know......Cobb still have some work to do on it.

I believe it was mentioned a while back in this thread, any time frame on e30 maps for an otherwise stock car?

Also if I was to add a few gallons of e85 on Stage 1 Aggressive would there be any benefit or worse, issues?

I was told soon but I might jump on the juice box if there isn't any confirmation or update, even the slightest would be great.

How on earth will the ECU keep data of how many times it was flashed if it's already flashed? Flashing ECU will flush older data if you know what i mean. And btw when you uninstall the tune it will restore the original backed up data.

I have been told by several techs and service writers that the number of flashes and time, dates, etc. are stored and the info is extractable. I have no reason to doubt this is true.

Completely true, their diagnostics can retrieve anything they'd like. It won't throw any red flags if it isn't an absurd number because cars will have software updates and bugs fixed.

One of the reasons the JB is popular is because the ecu will have no recollection of being modified through its settings..unless its an overboost code or something along those lines, correct me if I'm wrong.

My N55 is 3/2012 and my Cobb works fine. Production probably end 2011.
Had to update my DME and sent in my Rom to Cobb.
