Can anyone advise the size of the small oil ring( which I lost somehow) for the oil filter for a 2006, e90, 325xi , this was a Mann oil filter.
Thanks in advance.

If you get a quality filter, it comes with one as a set.

I'm sure that sticking with the original o-ring for one oil change won't do any harm...

I agree. Having done 20 oil changes now, I've never seen the little green o-ring being hard and brittle. I'm confident it could go a few oil changes and be okay.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Just reuse it. Changing these orings at every oil change is excessive anyways considering there are orings all over that never get changed.

I save all of my oil o rings for this very reason. Just reuse as others have said. Otherwise grab a new filter..
