LUX H8 V4 Angel Eyes
Went ahead and just ordered the new LUX H8 V4. They claim to be brighter than V3 versions, and well, the color adjustability might be interesting. Typically though I'd just want to dial in the color so as to match the Xenon bulb output.
Anyhow... do the V3 installation instructions apply to these new V4 kits? The LUX page says installation instructions are "Coming Soon". Well I think they need to "Come Sooner" if they're already shipping. Last edited by ljgmdad; 05-08-2013 at 04:29 PM.. |

Same here man. I even asked in the Lux thread if v4s were coming out anytime soon and was told no. Now our v3s are outdated.

The V3 is literally perfect IMO. No amount of work on the stock headlight design can fix the way the outer ring looks. In that pic above, by making the temp higher 8-12, you see what I'm saying. This is a great option for those wanting to upgrade from the very weak plug and play solutions out there. I'm going to keep my V3's until they die and then I'm going with the Orion V4 rings |

Same, because its easy to DIY. I would never trust myself to get the headlight open and closed up perfectly. However, I've never heard of anyone having issues of that nature when giving them to OSS.

I've heard of a few instances were OSS's would leak and ruin the headlight.

It is closer to 1000 lumen now. The reason we dont list this is because so many knock offs make false claims about their light output so its hard to compete with lies.
