The first common one is one that will connect to your typical garden hose! The second type is a Cannon that attaches to your pressure washer!! U should take into consideration of what tools u have readily available and what u use more to make your purchase.. Obviiusly the Foam cannon on a pressure washer is the BEST u can get!!

FYI you can get the Gilmour Foamaster on Amazon for about $20 cheaper than on any of the detailing sites.

It's used in the washing process. You put soap in the cannister and it foams up on the car. I'm hoping on a car that's not too dirty, it will reduce the need for using a wash mitt in most situations. Not using a wash mitt could reduce the chance for swirling and make it even easier in the cold.

ONR is Optimum No Rinse wash, it allows you to wash your car without the use of a garden hose. You just fill a bucket up with water, add the ONR and soak a coulple sheepskin mitts or microfiber towels in it then wash the car a section at a time. The difference is you dry the section right after you wash it. Its really the only way I wash cars anymore, much faster and if done right doesnt cause any marring at all.
