It's exactly 10x longer than Bandimere, but curvy. :P The back straight between 3 and 4 is, I think, close to 7/10ths mile. But turn 3a (not designated on diagram) is WOT, and turn 3 is very close to WOT, I use left foot braking on that one. You're braking from 120-130mph (in 335i depending on how well you did 3!) down to 70-75mph for 4. Exciting stuff!

Weather looks sorta sketchy, but as for now, I'm still planning on going. HPR is now on winter schedule and (cheaper) pricing. The course is open from 10-4 straight with no lunch break. (Bless those corner workers.)

My wife doing her best filming a run around HPR in the passenger seat on the 23rd of October, 2010. The audio was garbled by the upload, so I swapped in some acoustic music (still pending). Our car (2009 BMW 335xi) has KW V3 coilovers, -2 degree camber front and back, and is on Yokohama ADVAN AD08 street tires. I did not drive as good as I could have on this lap, I was a little distracted by the fear of having my wife come out of her belts, as unreasonable as that sounds. Bless her, she was leaning all over the place with the g forces and kept ~both~ hands on the camera. I especially didn't do very well on the last series of turns (#13, 14, & 15). I timed 2:11 in this video, my best so far is 2:08. Next year I'm going to -3d up front, R compound tires on lighter wheels (my current ones are boat anchors), Schroth racing belts, ~and~ a fixed video mount. My goal at HPR is now 2:04 or so.
