HPR - 23 October 2010 (Saturday Open Lapping Day)
HPR's summer session is winding down. I'm going to be there (as well as my wife and even the dogs) for at least the morning. Anyone else interested?
http://www.highplainsraceway.com/events.html Edit: Weather and tire (life) permitting, I may even go to the OLD on Halloween, BD present to myself.

It's exactly 10x longer than Bandimere, but curvy. :P The back straight between 3 and 4 is, I think, close to 7/10ths mile. But turn 3a (not designated on diagram) is WOT, and turn 3 is very close to WOT, I use left foot braking on that one. You're braking from 120-130mph (in 335i depending on how well you did 3!) down to 70-75mph for 4. Exciting stuff!

Weather looks sorta sketchy, but as for now, I'm still planning on going. HPR is now on winter schedule and (cheaper) pricing. The course is open from 10-4 straight with no lunch break. (Bless those corner workers.)
