Well 12.6-12.9s all night. Could not get good traction. Also I kept getting half engine lights. And the most annoying part was the transmission keep downshifting and fucking up my times! I was running 115 all night which should of been 11s if not for my reasons. Fun time though. Raced a Golf R. Cool car

I know. Kind of bummed. But when my 60 is 2.3 it won't happen. I had some weird problems with the kick down even in manual mode that was very maddening.

Yeah it can be hard to smash it to the floor but not ALL the way to the floor so you aren't hitting the kickdown notch. Also 2.3 60's suck ass for the track. Are you on stock rft's? I dont know how accurate the BMW performance steering wheel is but I would imagine it's pretty damn close, and I cut 2.2-2.3 60's all day on the street. With all the rubber on a prepped track it should easily be improved by at least 3/10ths.

Assuming you are launching in manual mode 2nd gear between1750-200rpm?

Changed your plugs recently?

Mine was throwing a half engine light after getting on it pretty hard at high RPMs. Changed the plugs and it's all better.

I am on general tires 265/30/19s. I cut a couple 2.1s but then i had a downshifting problem again. I have a lot of questions pertaining to what happened and I will post it in n54 turbo engine section. It was getting down in the 40s as well last night so that might have been some of it. First time there as well. I did not adjust my tire pressure either. I was also only hitting 16#s of boost where as I was hitting 17.5 most other days.

When I brake torqued it would down shift even if I did a third throttle. It was pain I also want to know why when i paddle shifted it would take sooo long on some runs where it wouldnt shift and then the car would shift and then my shift would happen and I would go from 2nd to 4th or 3rd to 5th. I dont know if the trans is slipping or if the trans heats up and doesnt shift properly. I am more of asking that last part because I have no idea.

Good question...let us know if you visit take this with a grain of salt, but Lucky Motors said they are an off-shoot of Fidelity Motor Group which used to be in the same location. Fidelity is now in Barrington. I also noticed some of the same BMW's listed by Vicari (on-line) are also listed by Arlington Toyota down the road.

I can't speak for the rest of it, but the temp doesnt matter. If you are running map 5 and it gets colder out the car should make less boost, but horespower will remain relatively unchanged.

So a bit of humor for everyone here today.
I work for one of the largest financial firms in existence.
This morning I got an email, from a girl. She was asking us to vote for her for some local office productivity contest bs. Then I noticed she was in California, which was odd, then I noticed SHE BLASTED THE EMAIL TO OUR ENTIRE NORTH AMERICAN COMPLEX

So 60,000+ people got an email from some girl about an office contest this morning and here's where it got good... People started replying, asking what it was about, saying don't spam me with this crap etc etc. The best part is everyone is using the reply all button, so every time they do it our servers get smoked with another 60,000+ emails simultaneously. Then it went viral and a torent of emails using reply all, telling people to please stop using reply all started. This went for about 3 hours of receiving an email every 10-30 seconds. It has now progressed to people interjecting off the wall random thoughts, and the creation of internet "memes" being creted to mock the orignal sender attached to the email then reply all. It has reached the point of total hilarity, we'll see how much further this devolves by the end of the day.

So far I have received over 650 emails, which have all gone to around 60,000 people. So around 39,000,000 emails have been distributed because of one girls idiocy.

My favorite reply so far.
Meme of doseqis guy "i dont always reply to emails, but when I do I use reply all"

Yes I do and a couple go pros as well mounted on my windshield. and i have a few logs as well before my laptop died. I was doing 115 traps all night and only 16#s which i usually hit 17.5. I will post up a couple. First 5 runs no half engine then the last 4 it happened and then did a 2 pulls against a 335i with meth on the way home and no problems. I dont know that is going on. I will have the same fuel in the tank for saturday when we dyno to see if it happens again and what kind of power i was putting down compared to when i was on the track.

it may be time for some Apex arc8 wheels with some nitto 555r or something along those lines.
