What if your plans changed and cannot pick up car for ED?

What if a person has an emergency and con not pick up his/her car in Germany using the ED program? Does BMW take care of that? is there an added co$t to that? has nyone gone though that?

I am not sure but I bet they just charge the american price or everyone would claim an emergency to get the discounted price.

If you don't take delivery of the car in Europe, then it isn't a European delivery anymore. At that point, I highly doubt that BMW will give you a European Delivery price, if that's what you're getting at......

Assuming you've paid for the ED car and cannot make it at the last moment, the ED center would have no problem rescheduling your pickup. Not sure how far into the future, they are willing to hold the car for you.

If you decide to cancel ED, I am sure your CA can redraft the papers for you for regular delivery...

It could be postponed by a few days if something comes up and they have an open slot.

If it were a true unforeseen emergency (death in the family, major surgery for self or spouse or child), I would bet BMW would figure something out.

What type of unforeseen emergency are you planning?
