For the money/tread wear rating I don't think there's anything that can touch them.
I've had them for over 1 year and I'm still amazed by them. In the rain the grip is incredible. On the track they hold up very well and don't grain. Everyday street driving is quiet, great grip, good feedback, no tramlining and they have a rim protector to help against big hits.
Just get them, you won't regret it.

I have the previous F1s for summer and love them but I've never tried the Asymmetrics so I can't compare. Do they still make the older ones or were they replaced with the Asymmetrics? At this point, the Asymmetrics will probably be my next tire when these wear out.

In most sizes they have been replaced by the F1 Asymmetrics, but a few sizes are still made in the GSD3.

^^^I was just going to quote Tirerack. If I remember correctly, this tire just edged out the PS2 and Pole Positions. I know the RE11 is better, but I think that's in another class of tire.

Great tire. Pretty quite, nice turn in and steering response and decent tread wear. There is honestly nothing bad I can say about them, aside from the fact that my set seems to attract screws and bolts like no other

Just go for them and spend the extra couple hundred, you won't regret it.

Your Falken's came in 7th out of 9 tires tested.

Nice, looks like alot of these new "extreme summer" tires are kicking some butt I am more concerned with dry than wet, I don't race in the rain lol. However those Khumo's look just damn scary in the water. You can see the PS2's have fallen off the charts completely. They are like an all season tire now.

Impressed with the Dunlops

I had F1 GSD3 on my Audi A6 Quattro and I loved them, especially in pouring rain. Now I have F1 Asy on my W211 4Matic to replace the stock Conti Pro Contact, and the difference in ride and handling is like night and day (both much firmer). In the rain they are about the same as the GSD3, which is in a class of its own. On dry road they are better, about the same as the PS2 I have on my E93, and they are quite a bit cheaper. If you want cheaper tires that are really good you should try Falken FK452 or General Exclaim UHP but they aren't be as good as F1 or PS2.

I don't know if I have bent rims or what but ever since I got these, I cannot stop the shaking and I have done roadforce balancing 3 times for the front and 2 times in the rear. I have OEM style 189 rims which should be hub centric and I can't find the problem. They have terrible flatspotting every morning...

My 50K car rattles like an old Buick...
