Hey guys, I have a few questions about my options that came with the car. Just trying to familiarize myself with my car. Only owned for a couple weeks. Any help would be appreciated. TIA!

Preparation f tel.installation universal - Does this mean I have BT? Or what do I need to retrofit?

Rain sensor - Am I suppose to turn this on? My wipers don't turn on automatically when raining.

Automatic air conditioning - What exactly is this? I see it in my CCC options but can't figure out what it really does

Light package - What is this?

Preparation alarm system - Going back to the prep tel, does this mean I have alarm or it's just prepped for it? The "clown nose" thing lights up when I lock

Cruise control with brake function - How close do you need to be before it kicks in. Also, how does this actually work since I don't have parking sensors. Or is this totally separate.

Battery master switch - ???

Hot-climate version - ???

Additional Export tank filling - ???

Control unit COP - ???

ton of info here. There are sticky threads in this sub-forum look into those.

Rain sensor - Hiit button on right stalk to turns on. Shuts off when ignition is off also.

Preparation - The wiring installed already. Needs a couple hardware pieces to get going some coding necessary.

Auto AC -set desired temp with dials and the system will try to keep that temperature at all times.

Hot Climate - Not much heating elements - Seats mirrors etc

Cruise control with brake function - Cruise control is using brakes to keep desired speed. E.g. when you drive your car on highway and there will be downhill the brakes will be activating down your car to keep desired speed.
It is not the same as ACC (active cruise control with radar).

Additional Export tank filling - Full tank for export. But I really don't know whether BMW is paying for it? ;/

Ah got ya! Thanks. Still don't know what export tank filling is. lol. Also, I saw on another thread that the light package is the orange illuminating light under the door trims. Do I need to turn that on? Or did I completely misunderstand what that is.

When your car will be exported in the future to the different country, probably dealer will fully tank your car (but still don't know who pay for this, maybe dealer). I saw few exported car few times, mainly from USA with this option, and always where fully tanked.

Light package - I don't know how it works in US, but in EU this option contain:
- lights in outside door handles
- interior light for your feet
- additional lights on the back seats/passangers seats.
and something else, but I don't remember at the moment.
