I saw on 36 south heading out of Boulder a 335 that was flat highlighter green color with black hood and roof, with a gold-colored foreign plate that appeared to be arabic writing. No US plate. Weaving through traffic before exiting at Flatirons Crossing.

I wish I could've taken a picture.

I wasn't able to make it out either that night. I definitely think a BMW drive should be in order. Let's plan for something for sure.

Us Z4 guys are doing a fall foliage drive this Sunday (22 Sept), up in the mountains from the Circle K at Bandimere at 9am, on 285 up to Fairplay, then Breckenridge, then to Golden via 6. Should be around 4 hours.

Back from Germany! Got to do 2 laps of the Nurburgring in a track prepped 125i (4cyl turbo)....in the rain. That track is insanely slippery in the rain, at around 45-50 deg F, with R-compound tires on. A Aussi guy and his buddy rented a track prepped E92 M3 and stuffed it into the wall a couple corners in front of me, I got to see the aftermath, not too bad, but bad enough to be a pricey vacation.

Also visited the IAA autoshow in Frankfurt and sat in the new 4-series & i3 (no M3/M4 yet, those will be released in Detroit this Janurary).

Oh and Oktoberfest in Munich of course, but that's not car related (except for the BMW museum and plant)

But you're on the chat thread, do tell all about your beer garden adventures. Did you have any rude but terribly good looking beer wenches? I love those types, they're more friendly than you think. I went to Hofbräukeller last year.

I will have to put up my vids of tracking @ Grattan. I can hopefully have time to do that this weekend.

Otherwise, I was thinking of post on bf.c about a lapping day at HPR. It would be neat to get some BMW's guys together for the winter pricing days which start in early November.

4 days spent at Oktoberfest at the Wiesn, one of those days starting at 9am. 1 day in the Hippodrome tent, one in Paulanerbrau, one in Pschorrbrau, and one in Lowenbrau...plus visiting some of the others in between. The waitresses were definitely all on a mission to get your beer as quick as possible, very efficient, but most were nice. Most of ours seemed to be a bit on the older side though. It was a drunken adventure for sure...didn't go to too many beer gardens outside of the Wiesn...did enough drinking there for a lifetime.

I have some vids form the Ring, but they are pretty boring overall and not really worth posting as I was not going very fast because of the conditions and unfamiliarity with the track (13-14 minute lap times, lol).
