that is very interesting! I may remove my hotchkis brace I feel it cause the rear end to make a back and forth moment, maybe not.

You're aluminium pieces have a groove for the braces, mine do not.... that something you added to. I think I like yours better add I wouldn't need spacers. Is your reinforcement plate different also? I see you still use the E92 braces so I will keep those.

Are you talking about the aluminum heat shields? That underbody pic is of a random m3. On the 335 you put the m3 braces over the factory heat shields.

I can take a picture of it on my car to make it clearer. My vrsf exhaust shows up on wednesday.

The m3 braces are the same from e90 to e92. Same part number. The m3 braces i have on my e92 are from an e90 m3.

lol! I was wondering why the exhaust was so weird! Okay that makes sense....it just bolts to OEM reinforcement plate. I will still need E92 tension braces though as the e90 has nothing hire brace to bolt to....side by side pic.

that will be awesome, but no way to add spacer if you need to. Do you have a part number? I am guessing just look up E90 M3 and it will show it on realoem?

You dont need the middle part to install the brace. Just bolt both sides directly to the car. The center section may or not fit, if it doesnt i wont run one but it should do its job just as well.

The long parts to the m3 brace and those ones you pictured above that use the subframe bolt to secure to car are one part and can be found in group 51 under additional body pieces. The middle part that goes under the exhaust is an exhaust bracket and should be in group 18.

okay totally get it now, so the stock reinforcement plate could go over the M3 brace ends. Getting this for sure!

Man, that brace followers the contours of the car perfectly, exhaust won't even be close to being in the way. Great find man....appreciate this!

I would use the m3 center part though. Your stock e90 center part will be weird because it has 8 holes. m3 has 4.

You're the man! I think #7 is rubber mounting that goes to the exhaust hanger and not needed.
