Any Other Mods Like The Golf Tee Mod For 328i?

I really got frustrated when i found out the golf tee mod doesn't work on the 328i. I cant change anything on the exhaust cause my dad is strict to stuff like that and i thought i could have sneaked away with the golf tee mod. Soo what do you guys think is there anything else we can think up, i searched and searched but nothing other then resonator delete or straight pipes. Will appreciate!

Does your dad know much about cars? Does he pay a lot of attention to your car? I ask because my mom hasnt even noticed that I put a new exhaust on my car, either by looks or sound. BTW, I dont live with her and she is nearly 80 years old, but she rides in my car at least 2 times a week.

Oh, and the golf tee mod isnt that great, I did it on my 335 and it un-did real quick. Just seemed like a lot of drone to me at low rpm.

SO what exactly you want? If I understand you correctly, you want your exhaust a little bit louder but nothing crazy right? The cheapest way is your muffler delete. Get yourself some exhaust tips and have a reputable muffler shop to do the work. You can wait at the shop while they are working on it and then just sneak your stock exhaust in your room until you wanna put it back on. You do have to make sure that your dad won't find out that all of a sudden your BMW is making louder noise and take a peak underneath your car.

Other then that, I would recommend RE Ikon exhaust (that's what I would do on mine) if you wanna go a lil baller.

How sensitive is your dad to car noises? My mom is such a pro when she comes across the mods on my car, she can tell if I have lowered my car or when I changed out the exhaust. However, she is not sensitive to cosmetic changes since she has not realized that I am on my second set of wheels already.... weird.

Resonator delete is not that loud at all. I dont know anything simpler that makes a little more sound from the exhaust then that.

well see im 17 he pays for the payments and he works at a bmw dealer, so he knows a lot and he has a e90 328i as a demo car from work. I barely got him to allow me to add a subwoofer to the car.

my father is the same kind!! But my father, if he likes something he pays for it, if he doesn't i have to pay for it . for exmaple: I wanted to add subs in my car, he didn't like it so i had to pay for it (i bought the loudest Dual subs they had ). He payed for an Iforged Drifts glossy black w/ chrome lip cuz he liked them. And for the exhaust hmmmmm....he didn't like it until he had a friend that has a mustange with nice exhausts.
If u do a muffler delete and ur exhaust make noises, he will probably look under the car and thats not good trust me. He trusted u with this car and as u said he know alot about car so just try to convience him.

wow man at 17 you should be more than happy to be driving around in a 328i bmw, cause i know when i was 17 i was driving some piece of garbage oldsmobile.

Just be satisfied with what you have. Its an amazing car and you can't go wrong with it.

when you start paying your car that's the time you could mod your car. when i was 17 i had a pickup truck. my dad bought me the prelude and half way i got a job and start paying for it. that's when the time i start modding cars.

get used 330i muffler, then u can do the golf tea mod and your dad wont know for sure, its cheap and little more unrestrictive/bit more sound. $150 or under will get u one.

PE u will wake ur dad up in fury when u start it up every morning, its damn loud at start up.
