The meth kit is on the car, yes, but Terry hasn't had a chance to take it to the dyno yet, or do any fine tuning. He worked fast, let me tell you...lol.

BMS adapted their WW kit for use on the 335D. It uses their FSB progressive controller which is run by the JBD and feeds fluid from the WW tank. Other than installing the nozzle in the charge pipe the install takes 20 minutes or so.
They did some dyno testing using a 50/50 mix and a CM10 nozzle which is fairly safe for the street. Gains were around 20whp over the JBD alone. This particular car was only able to run around 80% on the JBD this time around without tripping a fuel pressure code. Overall I understand the car feels a lot faster on the street and for the minimal effort involved BMS thinks the kit may interest a few hard core 335D guys. The kit price is $479 including the controller and all required parts. Mike |

Nice Mike and thanks to Ronin. Other the hp increase there is a big benefit as it relates to reducing egt"s. How does the controller connect to the jbd?
Does anyone know how much a stock charge pipe costs? |

When you say 479 for everything, that does not include the charge pipe, correct? Do you gents think you'll be selling charge pipes with pre-installed bungs, etc as you do for the n54/55 engines? Cheers

I think the charge pipe is number 12 in the below assembly, no?
http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/s...ssembly=422162 If so, Tischer's price is $202.94. |

So at 100% This means it will be probably near 30whp and 45-50 wtq with 50/50?mix! At 100% meth this thing will reach 50 whp and 70wtq for sure..... Wow Can't wait next week to try it with 100% meth on the dyno and 80% JBD. |

I can tell you that I bumped the JBD up to 100% on the way home without issue, and it felt very, very strong (this was a 155 mile drive home). I'm gonna do some independent dyno testing down here so we can get some torque #'s, too. Need to ping a couple of people to see what I can find down here, but there is a definitive difference, without question. DPF removal is on the near horizon, if I can find someone to do it, and a FMIC replacement.

My question is will it also work with my RENNtech flash?

You should be able to do it with a standalone controller. I know for their other meth kits Terry sells you can upgrade the kit to "a more universal" controller by using the CM controller. The truck guys use EGR temp probes and turbo pressure to determine their settings from what I understand.

This is what I wrote him:
Good day terry, some us at the various forums are inquiring about the Meth Kit, but particulary people w/o the JBD box. In this case me I have the RENNtech flash, what will you recommend for this. Please respond to my alternate email at axelhernandez61@yahoo.com since I will be out of my office later on, Gracias!!

Mike - Can you find out from Terry what all is involved with connecting the controller to the jbd? Is it as simple as plugging it in between the rail pressure sensor and the jbd or does it actually tap into the board in the housing?

I can show you tomorrow. Additionally, I'm actually running a greater than 50/50 mixture now (bought a 5 gallon drum of M1 and 4 gallons of distilled water), and the difference seems pretty dramatic, but I won't know until I get the car on a dyno again. So far, I've been able to run JBD at 100% with the mixture (about 75 miles of driving), and it's been pretty solid.
