Im still trying to figure out what exactly you can "trim" off the front fenders for more clearance. There is no inner fender lip on the front like there is on the rear and the front fender lining is pretty high up and shouldn’t get in the way of a flush setup...The real problem is the aggressively 'squared off' front fenders. On my e36 i could flare the front fenders to accommodate the wheel, but without some cutting of the squared off region, i dont see how this is possible on the e92. Im not trying to contradict you or anything, id love to hear your ideas, since im trying to figure out a way to go flush on the fronts without the chance of ass-raping my fenders.

Camber and tire stretching are both necessary to compensate for the insane widths and offsets that are required to rock this look. If you really want to be cool, you can make the sidewall of the tire rub on the fender and shave off all your tire sizing info. This look is not possible without at least -2 or -3 degrees of camber. Most people running truly aggressive wheels are well past -4 degrees. None of these e9x cars have very much camber, and that's why none are 'hella flush'. They are all 'sorta flush' or 'nearly flush.' On most of them, just downsize the tires by 2 sizes, add lots of camber, lower the car by 2 inches, and try some 10-15mm spacers, then we're talking.

'hella flush' also implies that you can clearly see the lips of the front/rear wheels from a head-on view of the front/rear of the car.

The M3 you posted isn't close to flush, it's just wide. Nothing wrong with that, but there's no point posting it if it doesn't apply to this thread.

www.stanceworks.com

Lol, you make it sound as if theres a “hella flush bible” floating around somewhere...I never knew that to become a cool guy with a sweet stance you had to follow these rules to a T. If you look at most of the cars posted on stanceworks, their fenders look like they’ve been violated by a baseball bat all night long. I highly doubt that anyone would have the balls and stupidity to do that to one of the sweet e9x's that we see on the forum. This is why you won’t see those kind of fitments on this forum.

you dont see those modifications on the cars here because they are real modifications not removable parts that can be taken off when its time to turn the lease in

StanceWorks != HellaFlush

m-technik - Sorry, I have an E90. i've never seen a E92 front fender up close. I assumed there was a lip, that could be cut back.

It is going lower.

It's also going wider (tires & wheels wise).

I hope you are not referring to this as a "Real modification": (taken from stanceworks)

To me, cool goes out the window when your fenders have more divots, grooves and pockmarks than a fat woman’s asscheek.

cut, trimm'd and remolded.
that must of been alot of work.
how much did that run you and how long was the work?
have u adjusted rear camber at all? or are you waiting when u lower more and get wider tires.
give u props for all that work - should do wide body rear. oh yeah.

I do all the work myself

I did camber and toe work at one point, but set it back because I didn't like the rear dynamic of the car, it was too loose around the turns.

see whenever i see a car that the lip of the wheel shows more that the tire (stretched if you will) that just looks ghetto as hell. almost like you couldnt afford the correct tire to fit your wheel application. Being a new bmw owner i would have never guess that someone would WANT that look.

crazy. to each is own.

Since you posted under my quote of "hi its me alec"''s description of what it takes to be hella flush, (-3, -4 degree camber, sidewalls rubbing the fenders etc.) i assumed that you were of the same mindset as him, but thanks for proving me wrong with a pic of what i would agree is a perfectly stanced e46....Although Alec may disagree. But to each his own, right?
