Plesae help
I spent the last 3 hours tightening the v-band clamp on the rear turbo and then I experienced an exhaust leak. I am getting 30ff codes. I only touched the rear one and it looked to be sealing (saw in between the v-band clamp). I am out of ideas and so frustrated.

The thing is that they were working just fine (for 5,000+ miles) untill I tightened a clamp.

When I seafoamed the car there was smoke coming up from the engine bay.
Terry thinks the clamp is preventing the wastegate from closing...

Terry is once again the man! It was exactly what he thought, the wastegate could not function becasue once I tightened the clamp that was previously lose it could not move. Before it was moving inbetween the open ends of the clamp... I pryed it lose and moved it an inch, tightened it, and presto!
