How was the Business Nav ? I have my new E92, M-sport on order with Business Nav, but I am considering if I should upgrade and get the Proffesional Nav with Bluetooth and Voicecontrol. The cost of this upgrade in Norway is 600 £. My alternative is to pay 600 £ for the upgrade to Hi-Fi. What do you recommend ? Thanks. |

The lease company that my company use write off the whole value of the satnav option (divide price by 36 and add to monthly payment) over the 3 year lease period and the same with the M sport option! Hence sticking with the 335d SE and a tomtom. Shame as they are good in other respects like as an E60 with auto and leather is cheaper than one with cloth and a stick shift.

As some off you know I change Cars quite often and as I’ve now found on the 335 range the Sat Nav is essential in the short term. “Comparison my 07 M sport 335i Coupe without Sat Nav sold to BMW Dealer £31500 Friends Exact same Car slightly more miles but with Sat Nav + Heated Seats and Park Distance Front Sold to Same Dealer for £33750"
My Car is for sale @ £34995 although it’s been a couple of weeks since he traded his in it’s not come up on the AUC site yet so they may have already had a customer for his.

I've just been in negotiation with my dealer re. trading in my 335d when my M3 arrive in December. I specced my 335d without nav, as I want to work on the sound system and the i-drive will make life a lot more difficult. Trade in value is £2000 less than a similar car with nav. However, it costs you the same money to spec a new car with nav anyway. If you're buying used, then definitely buy a car with nav, if you intend to just use the car as it is from the factory and not upgrade sound systems, aftermarket alarms etc.

6% is not a lot of money off, if you can why not buy from coast2coast, they are offering 14% of a new coupe at the mo which I bet beats any other deal around.
Fully spec'd 335d for me was around the £37500k mark (about a 5.5k discount) http://www.coast2coastcars.co.uk/ |

As you can see from my signature I didn't go for Nav, I'm quite happy with a TomTom which I move between cars. There are many extras I would have gone for before Nav.

I didn't go for nav (only a 320 though) i wanted it badly but now after a month I don't miss it and my Garmin 660 is doing a fine job.
If you are selling on after a time as stated you can get 50% cost back and will make it more attractive to $tealers/buyers. I spoke to m next door neighbour (independent $tealer) who advised that he would only take a 335car with pro nav as without may stay on forecourt too long. Hope this helps
