I can't believe I forgot about the open diff. That should absolutely be standard fare on cars with the sport package, IMO. The electronic approach doesn't begin to cut it.

Electric water pump costs an eyeball. Well, all repairs cost a limb in general.
Engine leaks from everywhere every 50k miles.
The Bong is anoying and just intrude for any useless reason
- why being anoying when I don't have my seatbelt but I'm still in PARK. I'm not gonna through the windshield in park...
- Bong (noo, anoter water pump!~ ah no, its just 35 outside...)
- Keyfob can be removed when the car is still on, more bongs to complain about it
The electric seat doesn't set itself to the key that's used to open the car.
Trunk is not very large and has protruding shapes that further reduce usable space; and folding seats are an option.
Convenience window roll down triggers itself when seating on the key at home while the car is outside and its raining. It does not have convenience roll up (stupid).
inside paint is fragile, unsure if the paint is available for touchups?
window buttons are not ergonomic, the flasher light is invisible when you like to seat low.
The BT phone ******ion forgets the settings from time to time (no clear reason why that happens).

That's about all. The rest is all joy :}

Chimes... for everything. I.E. A Clock Work Orange Ludovico Technique.... i've started to hate that chime...

Pesky TMPS sensors.

The amount of time it takes the car to warm up.... ( I know I know.. 7 Quarts..) BUT DAMN.

Oh and lastly... since I bought it used... the fact that the interior plastics...especially the steering wheel trim and the driver side door pocket experienced the infamous peeling. I remedied the Steering wheel by installing a genuine BMW Alcantara steering wheel trim... but the door pocket... no such luck.

And no, I can't have my phone inside the arm rest, I have to be able to change the song and glance at text messages at stoplights.
You can run the wire through the end of the armrest (between the hinges). Just place the armrest at the correct angle and you can easily wire it through.

I just have it go through the front, arm rest still closes even with the wire going through. I keep it to the left near the e-brake as the latch is on the far right.

That works too, especially if you have a "flat" aux cable (I know Griffin makes them). However if you have a thick round cable, then it gets smashed badly. I still prefer to run mine between the two hinges. I have the cable slack hanging between the seat and armrest.

So true! I switched from an E90 to E92 and the wind noise is so much louder in the E92... I swear a Honda Civic has better wind insulation.

That's what I do, but it still gets crushed over time. I still think there should be a hole or something between the hinges. I'm using a Monster cable, as it's the one I've found that reduces the most white noise. It's a round cable so it's getting its fair share of abuse from the arm rest.

Lack of dipsticks/measurement views on bottles, etc; the door creak, the shitty "voice dial" function that doesn't understand something as simple as "Dial Jennifer," the fact that I cant disable the satellite radio that I dont want as an option when trying to cycle through stereo features on the wheel, the lack of a spare wheel, the run-flats (that will not be replaced when I finally wear them out), the "womp womp womp" that happens when you have the sunroof at the full open (wagon so bigger sunroof) when going above 20mph, the automatic wipers that think a light mist is hurricane sandy and take 10 minutes to turn on the lights. And, most of all, the brakes that produce more dust than they do braking power (will be replaced with EBC soon enough).

Im sure there are more things. Dont get me wrong, best car Ive owned so far, just not perfect.

Edit: Oh and seat belt bong. I will be disabling that. I wear it religiously but I dont think I need to put it back on when going 5mph in a lot.

i hate that the e92 power seats don't have a manual release option. the motor takes ages to move the seats forward/backward when you need to let people in/out of the back seats. a manual release would be 100x faster - unlatch, slide, done. it rains all the fucking time here in seattle and i'm getting soaked while waiting for the seat to move forward so my friends can get in the back.

forgot one... the complete inscrutability of the radio controls. Everything else is pretty intuitive, but even after RTFM I'd probably be better off with a mechanical dial and two knobs for the radio.

Garage List
The wearing of the soft touch plastics on the door armrest (driver), door handle (passenger), and radio dials.

the intro of the 328 should have been given the 3-stage intake and ECU programming of the prior 330. the 335 was given a nice boost over the outgoing 330, so the fact that the 328 was only mildly uprated from the outgoing 325 is and will always be a huge disappointment to me with this car.

If the 328 had the 270hp n52, it would have been eating bread on the back of the more profitable 335.

? 330 has 255hp. that's still quite a difference between the two.

Only thing I hate is the fact that I can't control my Ipod/Iphone through my iDrive without a $400 box.
